The Saint Cecilia Cantorum, named after the patron saint of musicians, was formed in June of 2002 to sing at the Our Lady of Grace Conference in Colorado Springs that August. After the conference, the Cantorum accompanied the celebration of the Mass at Corpus Christi Catholic Church and at the Peterson Air Force Base chapel. On November 22, the feast of St. Cecilia, the Cantorum joined with choirs in the Archdiocese of Denver to sing at the Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception said by Archbishop Chaput and concelebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Gomez. |
